What to expect at your Remedial Massage appointment

  • Initial Consultation.

During your initial consultation, you can expect a thorough assessment of your physical condition and any specific issues you may be experiencing. We will ask some detailed questions about your medical history, lifestyle, and the symptoms you are experiencing. This conversation helps us to tailor the treatment to your unique needs.

  • Treatment.

Throughout your treatment, we will use a variety of techniques, such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and stretching - all tailored to your body’s individual needs. Throughout the session, we will communicate with you to ensure your comfort and adjust the pressure as necessary.

  • Post Treatment Care.

After a remedial massage, it's common to experience some mild soreness or tenderness in the treated areas. This is normal and should subside within a day or two. Drinking plenty of water can help flush out toxins released during the massage and reduce muscle stiffness. Resting and avoiding strenuous activities for the next 24 hours can also aid in the recovery process. Some people may feel deeply relaxed or even fatigued after the massage, so it's important to listen to your body and allow yourself time to rest.
